Dr. Amir Salem, MD is a board-certified vascular and interventional radiologist with 10 years of experience. He is the founder of Vein & Knee Pain Vascular Group and his expertise covers vascular medicine, diagnostic radiology, and image-guided intervention without major surgery.
Dr. Amir Salem specializes in the diagnosis and minimally invasive treatment of peripheral arterial disease (PAD), venous disease and venous insufficiency. His clinical expertise also includes genicular artery embolization (GAE) for chronic knee pain, uterine fibroid embolization (UFE), and prostate artery embolization (PAE). In addition to his clinical practice, he has presented on interventional radiology topics at national medical conferences and has contributed to peer-reviewed research and publications in the field.
